10th Anniversary of PrimeMed P.C.

It does not seem like 10 years have gone by, but this year PrimeMed P.C. is celebrating 10 years of continued service and commitment to advanced healthcare in Northeast PA.

What started out as just an idea between a few physicians has grown to include 35 physicians, with specialties in internal medicine, family practice, endocrinology,  radiology, cardiology, and urology. PrimeMed P.C. has expanded its service to include an outpatient imaging center: Viewmont Medical Services, cardiac imaging: Imaging Services of Northeast PA, diagnostic nuclear imaging: PrimeMed Imaging, and the recently added service of a sleep disorder center; SRI Sleep Disorder Center.

New Addition

In 2008, PrimeMed P.C. added sleep studies to the list of services offered to patients and the community. The SRI Sleep Disorder Center specializes in the treatment of patients who have excessive sleepiness or problems with staying asleep at night (insomnia). The center works closely with pulmonologists: Dr. Ramakrishna and Dr. Levinson for reading and interpretation of the sleep studies performed. The center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
