Computed Axial Tomography, CT, combines the use of a digital computer together with a rotating X-ray device to create detailed cross sectional images or “slices” of the anatomy. Viewmont Medical Services announces the installation of the new Siemens SOMATOM Sensation 64 CT Scanner. This scanner is the first and only 64-slice CT scanner in our region, offering the sharpest, diagnostic detail and clarity. It provides fast scan time for the patients and the highest quality images to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

 

As a diagnostic tool, this new technology has important implication on the evaluation of cardiovascular, pulmonary and digestive diseases. With the introduction of our new 64-slice CT Scanner, we are now offering CT Angiography. Compared to catheter angiography, CTA is much less invasive and more patient friendly procedure.

NEW CT Walk-In Service: For studies that do not require IV and/or Oral contrast, Viewmont Medical Services offers convenient walk-in service.
